King James Version Bible PDF
You may have heard the King James Version of the bible called the King James Bible, or "KJB"or sometimes the Authorized Version, abbreviated "AV". You may also be familiar with the "KJB" abbreviation. The King James Version bible PDF is available all over the internet. The Church of England produced this English translation of the Christian Bible as instructed by James VI of England. 47 bible scholars and translators began work on this version in 1604. They completed the work on the King James Version in 1611. King James VI of England ordered Church of England translators to remain as true as possible to the ecclesiology of the Church and its "…belief in ordained clergy". Today, the King James Version remains one of the oldest and most widely read bible translations still in use today.

Douay-Rheims Bible PDF
The Douay-Rheims Bible is a translation of the Bible from traditional Latin into English. Members of the English College, which was a Catholic seminary located in France and established by English Catholics fleeing the Reformation, completed this translation of the bible for the Catholic church. This translation of the Latin bible was one of the College's attempts to uphold the Catholic tradition in the face of the Reformation. The English College published The New Testament in Riems, France in 1582. The Old Testament was published 27 years later in two volumes in 1609 and 1610. Many people found the original Douay-Rheims Bible extremely hard to read due to the influence of Latin vocabulary and sentence structure. As a result, this translation was revised several times, making it easier to read.
